Police investigate “suspicious” death in CBD

Homicide Squad detectives have launched an investigation after a man’s body was found in an apartment in the CBD on March 11.
Emergency services were called to a Flinders St address following reports a man was unresponsive shortly after 10.30am.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the 22-year-old Kings Park man was treated at the scene but died.
A cleaner had found the man in the property, which been used as a short-term rental.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, however following a post-mortem examination the death is being treated as suspicious,” the spokesperson said. •
