26th February, 2017
Melbourne Citi Free Wi-Fi and Melbourne Metro Free Wi-Fi have extended their CBD coverage.
The services currently cover Elizabeth, Swanston, Russell, Bourke and Flinders streets and CBD stations and will next month include Franklin and Spencer streets and Queen Victoria Market.
The services are intended to benefit the 900, 000 people who travel to the CBD daily, including workers, students, tourists and local residents.
Netbay Internet sales director, Keith Lam said: “It’s a win-win. Brands have a new platform to advertise and share their news and messages through measureable and targeted campaigns, and city internet users get online for free.”
Users have up to 250 megabytes daily per device, and no login usernames or passwords are required.
