CBD arrests

Melbourne West Divisional Response Unit detectives seized more than $7000 in cash, firearms and drugs in the CBD early on May 14.

Detectives executed a warrant at an apartment in Collins St just after 6.30am.

Two firearms, drugs and methamphetamine were seized and a man and a woman were arrested.

A 23-year-old Melbourne man has been charged with numerous offences including drug trafficking, firearms offences and theft.

A 20-year-old Melbourne woman has been charged with numerous offences including drug and firearms related offences. They have both appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
