Police are appealing to witnesses after a donation tin was stolen from a Bourke St police station on March 9.
Investigators believe a Caucasian man in his 40s, of medium build, entered the building’s foyer around 9.50pm.
“Once inside the man has removed a donation tin from behind a Perspex barrier and has placed it in his bag before leaving the property,” a police spokesperson said.
At the time of the incident, the man was caught on CCTV wearing a dark coloured hooded top, jeans, dark coloured runners, and a bandage wrapped around his head.
